A performance in which I paint on a large wall using only water. Within minutes, the water evaporates, allowing the work to be transformed again and again.
The performance was captured in Her Water, an award-winning short film (Director: Nora Dechant) — official selection at the 3rd Festival de Mujeres de Medios Audiovisuales, Latest Visions International Women's Day Film Festival, and Kuala Lumpur International Film Awards, and winner at Chauri Chaura and Sittannavasal International Film Festival.

Brenda Rodríguez was born in Buenos Aires. A multidisciplinary artist, she studied design, fine arts, and set design. A lover and practitioner of movement and dance, she is passionate about water as a medium of expression in her artistic quest. She has exhibited in galleries in Buenos Aires and participated in biennials in countries such as Uruguay, France, and the USA. She performed experimental and performative dance shows as an integral part of Grupo Blanco. She designed and built the Madretierra art space in Canning, Buenos Aires, where her atelier is located.
Brenda is the Argentine representative of the Arts and Films Wing of G100.
AGUAS. A project that travels through countries honoring their WATERS through art. The artist goes to the source. Painting with seawater, immersed in that environment, with all the information that implies being in direct contact with the water, the wind, the temperature, the people. It is something like surrendering to receive information without filters in order to transfer it onto the canvas.
